Faster onboarding and self-service built into everyday actions:
Tasks App Enhancements:
- Easily provide detailed instructions for complex to-do list items with an increased description character limit for “Other” tasks.
- Ensure security while enabling cross-team efficiency with these updated permission settings:
- Administrator-users (Admins) can edit all tasks for maximum flexibility.
- Other users can view tasks where they are Author or Assignee, ensuring clarity and accountability.
- Non-Admins with building-specific access can create and assign tasks for buildings they have access to and can complete tasks for any building they’ve been assigned, improving collaboration across teams.
Batch Actions Improvements:
- Create Batch Point/Bill Point from Points and Bills pages, reducing clicks and streamlining workflows.
- Create 100+ points with one CSV upload, making bulk updates faster and reducing repetitive manual entry.
- Receive email alerts when creating 50+ points via CSV, providing immediate feedback (success confirmation or an error CSV) without needing to check in-app logs. Note: For fewer than 50 points, in-app validation ensures quick corrections.
- Edit point/bill point text fields by downloading and reuploading a CSV file for quick updates and bulk corrections.
Search Enhancements for Increased Accessibility
Improve data accessibility and speed up locating specific points or buildings with advanced search options:
- Advanced search syntax now supported:
- “name:mypoint” → literal exact match for the entire string
- name:”mypoint” → exact match on the name field
- name:mypoint → non-exact match on the name field
- EnergyStar Automated Reading tab now supports searching by building name, making it easier to locate specific data quickly.
